This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how My Perks ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the App. The App is designed and operated under a privacy-first architecture, and we are committed to minimizing data collection and maximizing user control.
My Perks is built on the principle of data minimization. The App does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or otherwise process personal data on external servers. All user data remains under the control of the end user at all times.
2.1 On-Device Storage
All data generated or entered while using the App is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework and is protected by Apple's built-in security features, including device-level encryption. We do not operate, maintain, or have access to any backend servers that store user data.
2.2 iCloud Backup
At your discretion and subject to your Apple ID and iCloud settings, data stored by the App may be backed up to your personal iCloud account. These backups are managed entirely by Apple and are governed by Apple's privacy and security policies. We do not have access to your iCloud account, iCloud backups, or Apple ID credentials.
3.1 Personal Data
The App does not collect, process, transmit, or share any personal data, including but not limited to:
· Name
· Email address
· Phone number
· Location data
· Device identifiers
· IP addresses
3.2 Financial Data
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any financial information, including but not limited to:
· Credit or debit card numbers
· Bank account information
· Transaction histories
· Payment credentials
Any purchases made through the App Store are processed exclusively by Apple and are subject to Apple's own privacy policies.
We do not sell, rent, disclose, or otherwise share user data with:
· Advertisers
· Analytics providers
· Third-party service providers
· Data brokers
· Government or law enforcement agencies (as no data is retained by us)
Because no personal data is collected, there is no data available to disclose.
For purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), we act as a data controller only to the extent required, though in practice no personal data is processed.
5.1 Lawful Basis for Processing
The App does not process personal data as defined under Article 4 of the GDPR. Accordingly, no lawful basis for processing is required.

To the extent applicable, EU users retain the following rights under GDPR:

Because no personal data is collected or stored by us, these rights are inherently satisfied.

Since no personal information is collected, these rights are fully respected by default.
We rely on Apple's platform-level security features, including encryption, secure enclaves, and operating system protections, to safeguard locally stored data. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices and Apple ID credentials.
The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). As no personal data is collected, the App complies with the Children''s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by design.
The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. Apple system services (such as iCloud backups) operate independently and are governed by Apple's privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. Any updates will be made available within the App or on the App's listing page, with the effective date revised accordingly.
